Other than the Prize List Information
While this web site is primarily aimed at potential spectators for the
CDI-W/Y/J
Raleigh and Capital Classic, we did want to provide some basic information for the
competitors.
The buttons to your left will give you the class lists, unofficial ride times, a
Stabling Chart, officials, awards, and fees for each of the shows as well as the FEI Code
of Conduct and information on the show's host hotels.
A downloadable version of the Official Prize Lists and Entry form are now available.
Click on "Class Lists" to access these documents.
Click HERE to get a copy of
the official letter for everyone with
information that you need to know about the show.
The Hunt Horse Complex is a pretty large and sprawling place so if you are interested
in renting a golf cart for the weekend call Carolina Carriage at
1-910-295-0574. Ask for
Keith. These are gas-powered carts rather
than electric so they will last better going up and down the "hill". Carts will
NOT be available at the last minute so you need to reserve yours ahead of time.
Note: the law requires that only individuals holding valid drivers licenses be
allowed to drive any motorized vehicle, including golf carts.
Professional Braiding Services will be available by
Ashley Banes 917-561-2881 Also, information will be sent with times prior to the show.
The show photographer is Bob Tarr
Photography 513-851-8529
The show videographer is
Lu Spinks, Video Vibes 740-815-2629
Straw, Shavings, and feed will be available for sale at the show.
Attention CDI Competitors:
Competitors are reminded of the following FEI rule which is applicable to all
competitors in FEI-recognized (CDI) classes at CDI-W/Y/J Raleigh:
On no account, and under penalty of disqualification, may any horse take part in a
CDI*** and upwards which has been schooled by anyone other than the competitor concerned,
or any other competitor belonging to the same team, mounted in the saddle, in or outside
the town where the event takes place, during the four days preceding the first competition
of event as well as for the duration of the whole event. This means, for instance, that a
groom mounted in the saddle may walk the horse on a long rein, and that lunging and
assistance from the ground by someone other than the competitor/competitors are permitted.
In other words, this "One Rider" rule applies for all CDI entries, including
USEF and NAYRC qualifying competitors, from the four days preceding the first competition,
and continuing for the duration of the event.
Of course, one of the really good parts of being a competitor is the parties! So here
is a list of the ones the might interest you during the weekend:
